Arch Property Fund
WINDE acquires an equity stake in Arch Property Fund Limited (Arch) through its participation as a member of Honsha Properties (Pty) Limited (Honsha), a Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment (BBBEE) consortium.
Arch is an unlisted public company established in 2013 with the objective of creating a capital growth property fund that will house premium and high quality property assets. Its’ assets include:-
- MELROSE ARCH (Johannesburg)
- HARBOUR ARCH (Cape Town)
The transaction is structured in two components: a direct equity investment backed by the Public Investment Corporation (PIC), which gives the Government Employee Pension Fund (GEPF) a 30% shareholding and a debt component to fund Honsha’s acquisition of an equity stake of 9% in Arch. WINDE, as a BEE partner, will represent a value added component that complements the current skillset available in Arch’s management team.
Finningley
WINDE is an equity shareholder in Finningley – An integrated Green City Development making linkages between energy, water, nutrient recovery and waste management – nexus thinking.
Finningley is situated along the beautiful east coast of South Africa and pioneers the way for true integrated living. Pedestrianised villages with high density housing in and around village centres close to work hubs and shops, with higher density housing on the the outskirts, between village centres.
Agriculture remains a strong focus in the development with state of the art green house technology and urban farming.
